__CONCEPT__:

Let S be a sample space and E be an event such that n(S) = n, n(E) = m and each outcome is equally likely. Then \(P\left( E \right) = \frac{{n\left( E \right)}}{{n\left( S \right)}} = \frac{m}{n}\)

__CALCULATION__:

Here, we have to find the probability that in a leap year there are 53 Sundays

In a leap year, there are 366 days, there are 52 weeks and 2 days

So, there will be 52 Sundays in 52 weeks and 2 days can be (Sun, Mon), (Mon, Tue), (Tue, Wed), (Wed, Thurs), (Thurs, Fri), (Fri, sat) and (Sat, Sun)

So, the probability of having 53 Sundays in a leap year = 2/7
